Our coach, Paul Vrenken, is a leading young educator with extensive experience in circus pedagogy and has led many social initiatives. He has been teaching children's yoga since 2008 and developed the first children's yoga board game called "Mila's Weird Attitudes," which was published in 2015. The game incorporates his knowledge of Indian culture, play and movement, yoga, tai chi, meditation, and compassion for children. He later wrote the "Animal Oracle," which explains animal symbolism in a child-friendly way. During his two-year travels in South America, he worked with children and learned important life lessons, which enabled him to communicate fluently in Spanish and English. Health and exercise are his greatest passions. The death of his father in 2010 was a turning point for him to pursue a career as a body-oriented therapist and yoga teacher from a business engineering background. The realization that life is temporary and it is important to follow one's heart deeply resonated with him. While interacting with children, he manages to maintain his natural talent for playfulness and calmness, which reminds him of how wonderfully beautiful and pure children are.
